Basic Hockey Equipment
You will need 11 pieces of equipment:
- Hockey Skates (different than figure skates)
- Shin pads and Hockey Team Leg Socks (You can purchase these at Shaun Milne Signs)
- Hockey Pants
- Jill (female pelvic protector)
- Hockey Gloves
- Shoulder Pads
- Elbow Pads
- Neck Guard
- Helmet
- Hockey Bag
- Hockey Stick ( plus Hockey tape for the blade and for the glove end)
Purchasing a Hockey Stick
Have your daughter in street shoes hold the stick next to to her. Mark where the end touches her nose. Cut it
off there. Ask your Coach for assistance.
