Ennismore Eagles Girls Hockey

Rachel has played hockey since she was just 5 years old.  She played as a defense player most of her hockey career but she always had this desire to try being a goalie. So after 4 years of rep hockey she decided she wanted to try being a goalie in house league. She has picked up on the skills fast and loves every minute of it. You can always see her smile through her cage when she is playing.   Rachel is off to Sir Sandford Fleming College in the fall to start her journey in becoming a teacher. Thanks for joining us in your final year, Rachel!  We wish you all the best in your future ...

Jorja started playing hockey by 4 years old, but had a stick in her hands by 2! She grew up in the arena going to her big brother’s games and was his puck retriever in the driveway soon as she could walk!! After graduation Jorja will be pursuing her dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher. 

Mya laced up her skates for the first time at just five years old, and from that moment on, hockey had her heart. Always an athlete, she tried many sports along the way, but nothing ever compared to the love she had for the game of hockey. A loyal Ennismore Eagle through and through, Mya earned the nickname “Slappy” for her powerful slapshot and fearless play. Mya will be heading off to pursue her dream in hairdressing!  All the best, Mya!

Maya started playing mostly ringette at 8 yrs old in 2016 in Oshawa, with a simultaneous year of hockey in Whitby in 2017. She stopped playing in 2020, until she joined the Ennismore Eagles Girls in 2022, where she has been ever since!

Fourteen years ago, Bella started playing hockey with the Lakefield Chiefs, then to the Peterborough Ice Kats and finished her final 6 years as an Ennismore Eagle, and we are so thankful she did!  Bella will be attending Sir Sandford Fleming College in the fall to pursue her Hairstyling career!  All the best, Bella!
